"The theatrical trailer is different from the trailer that was released on the internet the other week. It has some of the same footage that we have already seen but there is new stuff in there! Amanda Peet speaking, M&S hand holding. Scully telling Mulder she doesn't want to go monster hunting anymore.
From what I gather from the trailer, Scully doesn't bring the case to Mulder's attention, Amanda Peet's character does. I can't remember exactly what she says but she explains that she is now the 'Mulder' of the FBI, ridiculed for her beliefs. She asks Mulder for his help because of his belief in this phenomena.
